Sending your items to us
Your Gold needs to be sent to us by an insured and trackable delivery so that any lost packages during delivery can be claimed by YOU from the delivery company. Please note that Royal Mail Recorded delivery is not insured for Jewellery and as such, we would recommend using Royal Mail Special delivery. In the unfortunate case of dispute, where gold is not sent in this way, responsibility falls solely with You the sender.

Our Valuation
When valuing your gold, we will subtract the mass of any stones or other materials from the total weight.

Value Calculator
The Value Calculator is designed as a guideline for your convenience. You may find that we sometimes are able to offer more per gram than advertised online. We will always offer the current day's spot price. e.g. If you are offered £500 for your Gold, and by the time we receive the gold, the value has increased to £510, we will offer you the full £510. Likewise, if the value drops significantly by the time we receive it, we will not always be able to offer you the original price on the day you used the calculator.

Fools Gold
As business grows, an increasing number of 'non gold' items are being sent to us. Whilst we appreciate that most people in this world are honest and genuine, there are many who unfortunately are not. As such, we have to test ALL items sent to us so that we can verify if the item is real or not. We will choose a place on the item that is not normally seen and will file the surface but only over a very small area. This is to get past any plating (we do not buy Gold plated items). We then put a tiny spot of acid on the filed area of the item. The acid will change colour, and tells us whether the item is gold and also the purity. If we find that the item is not gold, we reserve the right to enforce a mandatory £15 charge to cover costs of returning the item to you.

Cancelling
In the event that you decide that after posting your valuables to us, you no longer wish to sell them, you will need to advise us ASAP. There will be a £15 charge to cover our postage, time and insurance costs in returning the item to you.

Payment Methods
We do not send cash by post. All payments are made in cheque to the name and address as completed in the claim form. We are also able to make payments via PayPal should you request it.
